Come make your own beautiful Christmas Gnome at our weaving workshop.

Gnomes or nisse/tomte are known in Scandinavian folklore to protect family and animals from misfortune but remember to treat him well otherwise he may play tricks on you or steal your trinkets.

Our weaving workshop will teach you the basics of how to warp a loom, weave a variety of knots, and finish your weave perfect for hanging in your home. We use second hand, recycled, and natural fibers for our weaving, and our looms are made locally from sustainably sourced materials.

Time: 9:30am – 1:00pm (3.5hrs)

Please arrive 15 minutes early

This workshop requires high amount of fine motor skills. Participants will be sitting most of the time. This is a relaxed 3.5 hour workshop. We will take a break halfway through.
