Where are you located?
We are based in Perth, Western Australia. We are a mobile business which means we bounce around to all different warehouses and venues. Make sure you check the workshop description for details on where the class will be held.
What is the age limit?
All our workshops are 18+ events, unless written otherwise.
Can I BYO?
No, we provide food and drinks at almost all our workshops. If an event is BYO it will specifically say in the description!
Can I come to a workshop alone?
Yes, of course you can. We create a warm + welcoming environment, that makes you feel like you are surrounded by life long craft friends. We actually get about 50% of people coming to our workshops by themselves, so don’t hesitate and book that time aside for you!
Can I bring someone to watch and not participate in the workshop?
Due to space and the nature of our workshops unfortunately everyone needs to purchase a ticket and participate in the workshop. No spectators. Of course, there are exceptions to this such as carers and sign language assistants. Email us directly.
The workshop I want to attend is SOLD OUT, can you put me on the waiting list?
Almost all our workshops get repeated, we are sorry you missed out on this one, but keep an eye out for the next one. Join our subscription to hear about the new workshop dates. Sometimes we have last minute cancellations so if you really want to you can email us and we will keep you in mind. hello@openhandscreative.com
What do I do if I can no longer attend a workshop?
Read about our ticket transfer T+C’s here. Email us directly as soon as you know you can not attend the workshop. We recommend you share the love and gift your ticket to a friend.
How do I prepare leading up to the workshop?
Just get excited!! We will send you an email the week of the workshop to remind you when, where and what time. If you ticked the TXT reminder box at checkout you will also get a TXT the day before the workshop.
Do you serve non-alcoholic drinks at your workshops?
Yes we do! We try to have kombucha or fresh squeezed orange juice at all our workshops. If you don’t like either of these, let us know in the special requests at checkout.
Do you cater to dietary requirements?
Of course! We take pride in our gourmet food options. We commonly have individual cheese plates at our workshops and are happy to cater to any dietary requirements. Let us know in the special requests at checkout. Btw, our homemade crackers are all gluten free!
How can I use my gift card?
You can use your gift card for any of our upcoming workshops. (Sorry the gift cards can not be used for our shop items or craft kits yet… online store is coming soon though!)
Simply type in the 16-character code at checkout. You can use the amount over numerous purchases until it runs out.
