At Open Hands Creative we value creating an accessible and inclusive environment. We want everyone to feel welcome into our community. We are committed to providing information, inclusion and access to all our customers and collaborators.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we stand and pay respects to the Whadjuk Noongar people, and Elders both past, present and emerging. As a white-owned business we acknowledge the privilege that we hold. We endeavour to create a diverse community that are educated in access and inclusion. We are committed to using our platform to amplify diverse voices, sharing what we learn and creating space for discussion and further understanding.

Venues:

We aim for all our venues to be wheelchair accessible and commit to providing clear information about accessibility for all our events.

Workshops:

We have a range of workshops that require a wide variety of skills and mobility. We aim to provide clear information in the descriptions of each workshop to help with choosing a workshop that suits you. There is always an assistant present who can assist when required. Don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements and we will make adjustments where possible.

Companion cards and support workers:

All support people are welcome to attend workshops at no cost. If you wish for your support person to participate in the workshop activity, a heavily discounted price will be offered to cover costs of materials. Please email hello@openhandscreative.com to organise.
